You can renew your vehicle registration or title on the Massachusetts DMV website. In order to renew online, you will need to know the plate type of your vehicle and the plate/registration number. This information can be found on the renewal reminder that was mailed to you or it is on your registration certificate. You can pay the associated fee with your American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card or by E-check.

You can also request duplicate title or registration cards on their website. You may also order special license plates or cancel your registration. They also provide you with the option to check your registration status or the expiration date of your registration.

Your may also renew your Driver’s license from their website. To do so, you will need your License number, name, date of birth, and Social Security number. You will also need to pay the associated fee with your American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card or by E-check. You may also request a duplicate license by using the same information.

You can also apply for a learner’s permit the Massachusetts DMV. You can then schedule a time for your road test that best fits your time frame.

Also available on the Massachusetts DMV website, is the ability to change your address online. There is no fee associated with this service. You will need you Massachusetts license, permit, or ID number, your date of birth, your first and last name, and the last four digits of your social security number.
